How I Started:
After completing my first marathon I got a trainer and started training for my first figure competition until I found out I was pregnant.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing results and feeling more energized, especially since I will have a little boy to chase around very shortly. I have more confidence in myself. I'm also the type of person that has to constantly have goals that I am trying to pursue or else I get bored with life (that probably comes from playing sports since I was 4 years old)
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep giving myself goals and continue to work to pursue them. My new son and my boyfriend are the two biggest motivations for me! I could tell my boyfriend I wanted to be an astronaut and he would say “GO FOR IT!”
BB Accomplishments:
I have lots of accomplishments but right now I don't have any major bodybuilding ones. Hopefully I will be able to write something soon!

Goal (Long):
I completed my first marathon last Jan. 2007 in AZ. I then began training for my first figure competition which was supposed to be last May 2007, however after almost 2 months of training I found I was pregnant then I had complications so I was put on bed rest for awhile and my training went down hill. My son is now almost 10 months old so my goal is to start training to get ready for my first figure competition.
was telling my mom about a co-worker of mine asking me for advice on how to lose that last 5 lbs. My mom replied with "I wish I only had 5 lbs to lose but instead I have 40." I told her "You could only have 5 lbs if you lost 35." She replied with "I know, I know but...
What show are you doing and where??? I just did a powerlifting meet in Reno and took first place!! Ava came out ..it was a blast!!!

Progress/Maintaining seems to be going pretty well! I think I may be eating too clean though.... Feel like I am losing some muscle mass, but.... Live and learn, right!?
Training is going good having some shoulder pain but hope it will pass, a raw bench is a bench with out using a bench shirt (which helps/assists allowing you to bench more)Hope everything is going good with your training.
The training is going okay. I hate going through the weight fluctuations because I feel like I am doing something wrong. I am going to order a few DVDs and see how the figure competitions are done and if I think I can do it then I will hop in that on August 9th as well. Your belly will come along, just keep working at it! I know your body will be superb by the time your competition date comes...heck it already is!!!
