Overall Goal: I had my daughter 8 days ago and I started working out today. It felt great, especially after 3 months of bedrest!

How I Started:
After completing my first marathon I got a trainer and started training for my first figure competition until I found out I was pregnant.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing results and feeling more energized, especially since I will have a little boy to chase around very shortly. I have more confidence in myself. I'm also the type of person that has to constantly have goals that I am trying to pursue or else I get bored with life (that probably comes from playing sports since I was 4 years old)
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep giving myself goals and continue to work to pursue them. My new son and my boyfriend are the two biggest motivations for me! I could tell my boyfriend I wanted to be an astronaut and he would say “GO FOR IT!”
BB Accomplishments:
I have lots of accomplishments but right now I don't have any major bodybuilding ones. Hopefully I will be able to write something soon!

Goal (Long):
I completed my first marathon last Jan. 2007 in AZ. I then began training for my first figure competition which was supposed to be May 2007, however after almost 2 months of training I found out I was pregnant. After my son was born I was trying to get back in shape and a few months later I started training for another figure competition, well 2 weeks into training I found out that I was pregnant again so this baby is due Aug. 21st and I have my trainer on stand-by so the day I come home from the hospital I am starting to train again! My first figure competition will be May of 2010!!!!
I got on the scale and I'm weighing 166 lbs which isn't bad since I was about 153 before I got pregnant (I'm 5'9). Today I got on the treadmill for a 30 minutes aerobic workout where I did a walk/run routine. Then I did 3 sets of 12 of crunches on a stability ball and then 3 sets of 20 of...
meh not so good. :( Ive been away from the gym for way too long. my sched is very hectic. im working pretty well everyday ffrom 5am untill 7 or 8 pm so i never want to work out and im being a pig come night time lol. Starting next week tho my days get better so i have to get back at it :)

Trust me - tremendous is the right word! My wife looks awesome now (and always - :0)) , but it took her a while to lose the 50 pounds or so she gained when she had our second boy. You are virtually at your pre-baby weight already and looking good!
Congrats on the arrival of your littel girl (im assuming shes here now lol) I hope evrything well smoothly for you. I would love to see you compete, that is an amazing goal post pregnancy. you go girl.
Things here are good, i resently had a pregnancy scare :o so ive been taking it easy for a few weekks but im back at it nwo

im so sorry you are on bed rest, that sucks, but at least you are being taken care of. When im in a snack mode I make sure i have plenty of frozen fruit, in yogurt, frozen yorgurt, just milk, wraps with peanut butter. i put it on everything so it cures my sweet tooth and im less likely to snack more because it almost feels like youve been bad lol.
