When I Started:
Aug, 1997
How I Started:
I played football in high school. My feshman year I started lifting weights with the team in the fieldhouse. I fell in love with lifting weights instantly, with the strength I was gaining and the way my body was growing. I was a 170lb toothpic when I started out.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy the challange of meeting my next goal. I like the pain I feel from a good workout or the satisfaction I get when I look in the mirror. I like that fact that it is all on me, the only thing between me and my goals, is me!
How I Stay Motivated:
I read Flex and follow my favorite athletes. From Bodyspace and reading other peoples stories and seeing the progress they are making.
BB Accomplishments:
My only goal in life is to be fit and have the body that I want to achieve. One accomplishment I am proud of though is being in the Salute to the Military, issue of Flex last year.

Goal (Long):
I had a great bulking stage. I made a lot of good gains and at 240lbs I am bigger than I have ever been. I am very proud of my progress so far. I have just about 3 months before I leave Iraq. My goal is to be ripped up when I get home. So I am adding cardio and changing up my workouts. This is the first time I have ever tried to cut so wish me luck!
This women is amazing. She is the wife of Captain Ahab, another member who inspires me. If not for her Captain Ahab would most likely not be here today. She is an inspiration in herself, just as much an inspiration as her husband. Every day she battles two chronic medical conditions, Lupus and Fibromyalgia. Still she manages to workout and stay fit. She should inspire the entire country to get up and get healthy. People like her make help you relize that their is nothing you can not overcome...
