Decided to go into the US Navy. Did the bootcamp thing and lost a lot of weight, but didn't really gain any muscle. I started lifting on my own because I wanted to add some size and shape and did a lot of research on techniques and supplements. I continue to stay on the cutting edge of the fitness/bodybuilding industry. I committed to a hardcore program that I devised for myself, and to help others during a six-month overseas deployment during which I bulked up about 20lbs while cutting off about 25lbs of bodyfat down to between 8 and 10%. I felt great and looked great during this time.
Why I Love It:
I LIVE FOR THE PUMP! The feeling is incredible when I am in shape. Posture is better, everyday events in life are better, and easier to accomplish when I am in shape and feel great about myself!
How I Stay Motivated:
Look at fitness magazines and read fitness and nutrition articles/books. I constantly analyze my physique to see where I need to concentrate on improvement. I always strive to be the best!!!
BB Accomplishments:
Becoming a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Consultant for 150 people while I was in the Navy.
Completing the MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest!

This is taken at the start of my MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest entry on June 3rd, 2008. I look horrible! I can't believe I have let myself get this way. Too many crazy hours at work, bad eating habits, and not paying attention to my health. It's time to do something about...
This is at about 10 weeks since the start of the transformation. I have added about 5 pounds of muscle in the past 4 weeks while further cutting the bodyfat down.
Simply to be the BEST I can be, every day! I want to use my knowledge, ambition, motivation, dedication and determination to help others succeed in their goals! I will prove that fitness can be a way-of-life, even with a busy schedule.
Goal (Long):
I'm going to concentrate on putting on 10 pounds of lean mass through proper diet, supplementation, and training. I am following my passion for fitness and nutrition to help others help themselves in making proper training, diet and supplementation choices while always furthering my education in these fields. I am going to get certified as a personal trainer. My ultimate goal is to work as part of a supplement company team.
I updated my progress pictures today! I have made HUGE progress from where I started on June 3rd, 2008!!! I lost a lot of bodyfat while toning up during my 6-week transformation, then set my sites on gaining 10 pounds of muscle during the following 12 weeks. In the past 4 weeks I have...
Awesome. Yeah...It's nice to see results. I've been working the legs pretty hard. More to do. :0) My 4th was pretty good. Goof fireworks display here in NYC but it rained. Still fun though.
