After years of heavy smoking, i finally kicked the habbit, but began to pack on the pounds.... I was in the Air Force at the time and while TDY in Ankorage AK a co-worker of mine dragged me reluctantly to the gym, and I just fell in love with it.
Why I Love It:
Going to the gym is the biggest form of stress relief in my life. Not only that, but it is awsome to challenge yourself everyday and knowing you did something positive for yourself gives you a real sense of accomplishment. I love infecting others around me with the "gym bug". It's a contageous condition.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have big hopes, big dreams, and intend on taking this as far as i can.
But what my biggest incentive is when someone comes up to me and tells me that I have inspired them to get into shape and make positive changes in their life.
I use bodybuilding in my job with the Next Generation Power Force as a bait to catch the attention of people so I can share a message of hope to those who need inspiration and a word of encouragement.
BB Accomplishments:
In my first bodybuilding show I took overall. the Gopher State Classic in MN. WOW, what a rush.

Goal (Long):
It is my sincere hope to see the sport of female bodybuiloding turn toward the more femanine. I'd love to see more physiques like your Corey Everson's on stage and kickin butt.
I spoke with a few judges who agree. Female bodybuilders are a dying breed as the look you have to aspire to is just too much. I think thats why there are sooooo many figure girls. And a lot of figure girls should really be in bodybuilding.
So I am gonna keep doing as many shows as I possibly can (or my body allows me to), in hopes that I can do my part to go in shredded, muscular, and femanine.

Well, I have learned A LOT from getting ready and competing in the Southern CLassic June 2nd. I went in about 6lbs heavier than i did for the Gopher State Classic back in April... and it wan't all muscle (had a hard time getting the water off). In all honestly my heart wasn't in this show...

big buff, i know you are on your long and grusom trip to omaha, but i thought id hop on here and do a lil visiting. so when are we gonna all (the big buff klan) gonna take over the gym and do one HUGE workout! seriously there should be like 20 of us! jus one big take over! kickin butt and takin names is what im gonna call it! haha well i hope romeo comes around.. tell jason that im on the look out for him, actually im gonna go play with e right now. so holla at ya later.
