Overall Goal: To add more bulk to my upper body (chest, arms, back) and to get a lean, defined midsection by the fall when I hit my two year mark!

How I Started:
I started working out because I was simply tired of not being comfortable in my own skin. I just felt I had reached a point where it was time to take action. I managed to drop a few pounds, gain a few pounds, but this time the weight gain is from muscle and not fat.
Why I Love It:
I love to workout for two reasons. First, I feel so good after a great workout. Secondly, I enjoy seeing the results of my hard work and dedication. I've really noticed the changes in my body in the last year that I've been dedicated to the gym and can't wait to see where I go with it in the near future!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have self-motivation first and foremost and then I have my roommate and friends to keep me going. I also have an acquaintance who is a current fitness model that I use as an inspiration.
BB Accomplishments:
With the help of BB.com, I'm finally able to track my own progress and see exactly where I've come from and where I can improve for future goals. This site is really a great help and those here who encourage me, make me work harder! Thanks to all you guys who drop me messages from time to time!

I was extremely overweight and I wouldn't allow any more pictures to be taken of me after this one for several years. I keep this photo as a daily reminder of the progress I've made. Thank God for motivation and self-help. A year after this was taken, I dropped 76 pounds in 8 months!
I can really feel the heat in my arms this morning! I'm back on five days a week starting yesterday - rotating body groups and I plan on really amping up the cardio starting today!

Goal (Long):
I want to achieve the physical good looks of a fitness model. I don't want to be overly defined, but I want good definition on my frame. I want the coveted six pack abdominals, a nice rounded chest and really cut and defined arms.
Well, I have decided that I'm ready to get with the program harder than ever! I started doing cardio again last week, pulling a forty minute session each visit. I am going to incorporate that four times a week and see if I can't drop some more bodyfat. My progress so far has been great and...
Do'n great!! Yea I've been working to much... lol.....
Need to update this thing but have not had time.... But training is going great!

Refined carbs are the processed foods, usually ready to eat stuff frozen or packaged. The best carb sources are fresh vegies and fruits. The closer you get to the way God made it the better.

Yes, I lived in Nashville and went to B'ham for concerts and stuff. My parents live in Mobile and Brother in Daphne. So, I have plenty of 'roll tide' people in my family.
