Overall Goal: To be better when I compete each time! I am not competing against others as much as I am competing with myself to be better and NEVER backslide.
Fit Status:
lbross has not entered a Fit Status.
Ask lbross for an update.
It seemed like everyone in my family started having heart problems - even though they were not grossly overweight - and I started to think I was a ticking timebomb.
Why I Love It:
I know that I personally need to have a central goal (or two) to strive for, otherwise I am unfocused and loose my drive and passion in life. I use training and fitness goals as that thing that I wrap all of myself around. It belongs to ME and has nothing to do with the Mom/Wife thing where I'm taking care of someone else.
There are no excuses in life - only choices and priorities!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep setting harder goals and surround myself with all aspects of fitness. The people at my gym have so much heart and drive, it helps to keep me going if I ever doubt my sanity. I am not a "normal" person and NEVER want to be one (is there such a thing??)
BB Accomplishments:
I placed first in Masters Figure in the NPC Coastal show in August 2006.
8th place in Masters B at 2007 North American show.
1st place in Southeastern Golds Classic, Master's Figure B.
10th place at 2008 North American Masters B

This was taken in June 2003 on my first day with a personal trainer. I weighed 145 lbs and had no idea I was so bottom heavy and out of shape. I keep this on my refrigerator so I see it every day!

Goal (Long):
Put in my heart and soul every day! NOT PORK out during off season!
I was a bodybuilding.com transformation of the week! http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/transf12 4.htm
When I first started working out, I didn't know how to eat. I discovered eating clean through some trial and error and absorbing all I could through the scant amount of information I could on eating clean.
For the last few years, I have been creating clean recipes...
I train with IFBB Pro Rashid "Roc" Shabazz, and I do whatever he asks - I trust him completely. We do resistance training 4x a week, Mon thru Thursday. It is intense with lots of giant sets and short rest periods (if any).
