HOW I STARTED:

I started working out when i got into high school for football. We only focused on bench, power clean, and squat, so i was not really bodybuilding. Then when i graduated from high school i started hanging out with some meat heades and reading FLEX, thats how i got started.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Because of the pump and watching my body transform. That feeling after an intense leg workout and you honestly dont know how you got through it.

Hammies Always First

So about a year ago I was tired of having no sweep to my hamstrings, so I started training them in the AM and quads at night.  Tried that for a month and by the time quads came at 5pmish I was whipped out and my workout sucked.  I love squatting and there was no way I was gonna do half-assed workouts.  So I thought, my quads dominate my physique so lets try and do hamstrings then follow them with quads.  And to my surprise my leg workouts became better than before.  By the time I got to squats my body was hot and ready to crank.Â...

Gearing up for Arm Day

As I write the title to the post, I can't help but laugh at the title.  "Gearing up for Arm Day," is that even possible? Its extremely easy to get siked up for Squats or Deadlifts, but arms.  I made fun of guys for years who curl on monday, wednesday, friday and sometimes saturdays in hopes to create Arnold like Biceps.  It wasnt until the past show that I realized I needed to really put a focus on them this off-season, because when i diet down my arms have great detail but lack the mass capable of winning my weight class. ...
