Background

When I Started: Nov 1976
HOW I STARTED:

I was a scholarship gymnast at Michigan State University and it seemed like a natural progression into the competitive fitness industry.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love exercising because it has actually been a part of me my entire life, and now I am able to make a living at something I love. Although I enjoy weight training and cardio, I also enjoy other activities such as yoga, beach volleyball, mountain biking, and rollerblading. I am training for quality of a healthy long life. Now listen to my body and know when to give 110% and when I may have a more gentle workout.

I stay motivated by enjoying the results of consistent training. I have discovered by incorporating a variety of exercises and workout routines, I am continually challenging myself in new ways. I stay motivated as I know I am a role model for my clients as well. When they improve I get just as excited!
