How I Started:
I used to love to work out. I would run a few miles a day, bike or walk back and forth to work, and began weight lifting. I took kick boxing three nights a week for two hours a night. I did a 5k at least every month. I have lost my motivation, but really want to return to that lifestyle again.
Why I Love It:
It kicks up that feel good hormone in me. Whenever I am stressed or crazy from work, doing a quick hard workout or run seems to instantly lift that cloud.

I want to take off 5 to 10 pounds of body fat and gain muscle. I would like to look as near as I can to a fitness competitor.
Goal (Long):
I would like to learn to eat properly with good nutrition and cleanly. I want to put in at least four days of workouts per week and make it a habit. When I was little, I used to love watching female bodybuilding competitions. Corey Everson was my idol. My parents had a little home gym, and I would spend all sorts of time trying to mimic the exercises that I saw on bodybuilding programs. I sit on my rump all day long. I have always dreamed of changing careers to be involved in fitness and nutrition some kind of way!

So, I began respiratory therapy school about 2 months ago.  In order to make changes because I knew that I would be spending even more hours just sitting, I am ditching the car.  So far, two days a week my husband drops me off in the morning and I walk the 5/6 miles home, up and down some...

heya lapetite! you should post your new purple hair! My show is in NYC and its a national show competing for a IFBB Pro card! My best friend is competing in the Colorado State Bodybuilding & Figure next month here in Denver, you should go see what its about, very cool! I compete in the Colo State every other year but this one because of NYC coming up... :-)
