How I Started:
I was always pretty active with playing team sports (Hockey, Football, Baseball, etc.) and working out at various gyms too. My buddy who was in Iraq in 2005 came home and told me about this new craze that the Military is doing for workouts and I just googled CrossFit and found a location near me and since then I've been hooked
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. It puts me in a better state of mind and well being. I also like the complements that I get from family and friends and it just makes me feel a little better about myself I guess. CrossFit is a small community and its great networking with fellow crossfitters out there and just sharing ideas and workouts
How I Stay Motivated:
Well, I live in Ohio and the weather sucks for pretty much 6-7 months out of the year, so to fight boredom I just get my butt up and hit the gym. I rather spend quality time in the gym than at the bar drinking and doing stupid crap that I'll later regret minutes, hours, days later

* 500-yard swim under 10 minutes
* 80 Push-Ups (in 2 minutes)
* 80 Sit-Ups (in 2 minutes)
* 11 Pull-Ups (no time limit)
* 1.5 Mile Run under 10 minutes
