How I Started:
I have always been athletic and very competitive. I played volleyball through high school and college, then I was on the rowing team. Once I graduated, I sunk into a place where working out just wasn't that important to me.
I reached my heaviest weight at 160 in 2003. Since that time, I started dating my husband who was very into fitness and got me involved with fitness once again.
Why I Love It:
It's extremely addictive. I am a results oriented person, and being able to see change in my body is very motivating. Knowing that all the work, time, and energy I am putting into this lifestyle is not only healthy but also very rewarding. Plus my husband loves the way I look. =)
How I Stay Motivated:
I enjoy seeing the transformation in my body. My husband loves my transformations as well.
I read many articles on training and nutrition and of course pictures of Jamie Eason always motivates me to get to the gym!

Goal (Long):
I will be training again for the Texas Shredder 2010 soon! I will be keeping a blog of my training so you all can follow along during my contest prep.
My ideal image is to look like Rachel Cammon. She is an inspiration and makes me WANT to get into the gym every day.
After a weekend of celebrating my husband's birthday by having a pizza eating contest and eating the world's biggest cinnamon roll the following day - all I can say is that I'm miserable!!! My clothes aren't fitting right, I'm uncomfortable, and I know how much time I'm going to have to put...
Cool, you got my vote. Anyway, it is funny that we live right down the road. My wife trains at a gym off Braker and I usually do Golds- Hesters or something else on 35.
