How I Started:
I've always been active throughout high school. In collge, I worked out occassionally. I gained 80lbs pregnant with my daughter and lost 60lbs without working out, just working and not eating a lot. I started the gym again in October 2007, just a few days per week because of daycare. I then increased the number of days and got a personal trainer (expensive) in November. I haven't lost any weight since.
My fall is I really enjoy food, but more importantly, I now find myself stress eating.
Why I Love It:
It keeps me sane and energized.
How I Stay Motivated:

Knowing that what I eat in private shows in public
Also being able to keep up with my daughter. She is a ball of energy!

This is before I had my daughter. I was 20 years old and about 160lbs but I did not know my bodyfat
I am 180lbs 27% bodyfat. I want to lose the rest of my baby weight!
I want to work out and eat consistently and lose fat.
Goal (Long):
I want to do 30 minutes of cardio (jump rope intervals and running) at 6am, six days a week.
I want to lift for 1 hour a day, 4 day split every week.
I want to build up my abs by doing 100 ab moves per day.
I want to be able to do 5 pull ups easy and 20 push ups.
I want to run 3 miles in 30 minutes.
I want to stick to an eating plan and not stress eat!
I want to look great so my coworkers do not wonder why I drink so much water and eat a billion times a day. They will SEE why and will want to do it too!
I want to be the best example for my baby girl!!!

Hey you can do it! I am a newbie here and this is the best place for support. I have learned one thing it will not happen over night but it will happen!
What got my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and I in the best shape of our lives was following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. You will need to challenge yourself to achieve great results but I believe they will be well worth the effort. Let us know if you would like more info.

hey, if u want a trainer, by all means get 1....and when u get one, make sure he or she takes the time out 2 listen 2 what u need, and not take ur money.

you dont need a trainer. There is lots of support here and training tips. I couldnt afford one either and he/she probably would have just slowed me down
