not really, i got the worst flu ever...it's so weird everything i try to eat has like this strange "ammonia" smell to it...so darn queer. But needless to say I'm not eating or sleeping well...plus can't work out with a booming headache...argh. Hope your weekend was better, best of luck with Ironman!

Pretty good except I got snowed in so I couldn't get to the gym...bahhh. So I did some cardio videos at home and yoga. Figure something's better than nothing. How about yours?

I actually love the diet, as stupid as it sounds haha. My favorite is sweet potatoes. If I can manage I wouldn't mind competing in the 2009 NPC Natural Northern USA Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Competetion because it's really close to home. But I got a long way to go before that can happen lol. How about you what are your aspirations? Hows your diet and stuff going?

I was happy, I'm really not having any issues sticking to my diet, I always read on here how not cheating is so hard to do. I guess I got lucky lol because I like all the foods in it. Tomorrow I start hitting the gym harder lol, I can't wait!!!!

Well during WWII there weren't exactly any regulations to what you could do. The NAZIs and the Japanese weren't the only ones doing this kind of research during that time.

Haha I was wondering what you did. Oh by the way if you want some food for thought on the conspiracy thing....I would focus on biological warfare and the introduction of diseases into society to "thin-the-heard"...Might find some interesting stuff.

Look at Liam. He's the reason why research was being done on satellite cells now, until he was born being Mr. Hercules Jr. we had no clue that satellite cell manipulation was possible.

It would be extremely hard to do. You would have to find a promoter (not an easy task) and then insert a CDNA construct into the genome (creating the CDNA alone is mind boggling) through microinjection of an embryo, then re-insert it into a mother and hope it "takes" and 99.9% of the time the mother would reject it as a foreign entity. Honestly we don't need to create mutants, theres enough mutation naturally.

Lol not so much. The things your talking about ae manipulations in the sattleite cells of the muscle. They've been doing it with both cows and mice for a while. No half-man beasts lol.

Well it could help them depending on their injury. The genes I'm working with though sometimes cause for regeneration of the damaged nerve tissues which would be more applicable to people who were in accidents.

If you find a new protein you can just BLAST it and find all of it's homologues in other species. Myelination is a process where the axon is coated with myelin (a specific protein) it's crucial for nerve conduction. If you can remyelinate the axons MS would be cured.

Actually zebrafish are very close to humans genetically and physiologically plus they're much easier to do work with because they are transparent. Can't very well work with an ape and take a look at his axons. Plus the entire zebrafish genome has already been mapped out making it easy.
