When I Started: Jan, 2005
How I Started: Taught aerobics for years but after having 3 kids found that my body no longer responded to heavy cardio....I was getting flabbier, so I started playing around with weights. I didn't start the clean eating until the beginning of this year...Wow! What a difference.
Why I Love It: It empowers me and gives me the strength and confidence to live a productive life
How I Stay Motivated: I want to be healthy and fit so I can encourage others that they too can stay fit and healthy no matter what their age
BB Accomplishments: went from a size 12 to a size 4...with only a 6 lb difference on the scales...that's muscle for you!

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Sometimes I find it annoying...but I usually put my Ipod in and just tune everyone out. I hope I don't grunt. I can't hear..Ipod

I have now learned how to make time slow down...Detox!! Somehow, by not allowing myself to eat everything I want..I have effectively added hours on to the day....Do you know how long 8 hours is? I do...cause I laid awake for all of them last night willing myself not to get up and go...

Workout Program:
Weight Training one muscle group 5 days per week. Do cardio first thing in the morning 4 days per week for 30 min. On the weekend, I do one day of rest and one day of a slow-burn cardio (5 mile interval walk). Have seen alot of muscle growth in this 12 week cycle.
