How I Started:
I have been lifting weights on and off since seventh grade. I did it in seventh grade, then in Korea for a few months, also for a few months in 97.
Why I Love It:
I feel good and look sexy. Plus it will make me live longer and prevent injuries. The pain gets to feel great after you get into the habit of working out every day. It's cool to walk around and stretch after a good pump. It is a good way to pack on muscle after you burn it away with a endurance cardio.
How I Stay Motivated:
I had a gym membership but that didn't work. I bought a bench and 25, 35 and 45 pound dumb bells. With that basic equipment I can stay motivated merely by having the equipment in my presence at all times. I also have a pullup bar in my room. I film my home workouts to keep track of my progress, share my home gym idea with others so they can see if they can beat me, and have a personal record to try and beat. I compare myself with girls who are bigger, bigger and stronger, and stronger than me. I figure if I see a hot girl way younger or way older and bigger and stronger than me I will be motivated to try to get at least to her level. I also bring my mp4 to the gym and do what girls from hdphysiques.com, herbiceps.com, diymuscle.com and even sh************ and do what they do. I also watch girls routines on youtube and write down what they do and do it at the gym. I find that I'm more or less the same strength as the big female bodybuilders so it's a cool challenge.
BB Accomplishments:
Right now I would have to say it's benching 190 off the couch. I remember ten years ago before I grew a belly I could do 20 pullups no problem, now all I can do is 15. - Last September I rode the "Grand Loop". 200 miles over 3 passes at about 30,000 feet elevation change in 19 hours(with a 45 minute lunch break). That was my second ride in nine months. - Look at the videos. That's what I'm capable of.

I woke up unfresh today so I will take the day off so I can be fresh tomorrow and film myself benching my big 225 lbs 7 or who knows maybe even 8 x.

I tried...I can do 20 reps with 26kg dumbbells and 12 reps with 30 kg dumbbells (my bodyweight)
