When I Started:
May, 2008
How I Started:
I've always been really athletic, then I had two kids and lack of time and exhaustion became my excuse for letting myself go. I'm sick of feeling uncomfortable in my tight clothes and not wanting to take my kids to the pool. I don't want my girls to ever hear me say "I'm fat". I want to set a good example of what a confident woman with great self-esteem looks like.
Why I Love It:
When I get my ass out there and do it, I always feel great afterwards. Plus, i like to be strong not just look good. I like to impress my husband with my pull-ups!
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband totally inspires me to stick with my goals and just get it done.
BB Accomplishments:
None yet, but I'm working on it. I'm entering the Panhandle in April. It'll be my first show.

I have to change my goals! That's so exciting, that means that I have reached my last goal. Very big! I have lost ten pounds over the last 6 weeks, 13% bodyfat, and a whole lot of insecurity! It feels fantastic! I met some really great people who are training me and teaching me new things everyday. I am competing in my first figure show this Saturday. April 4th, the Panhandle Showdown! My goal is definitely to place, but also to try and enjoy my own personal successes.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 9 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
6%
Upcoming Contest:
Panhandle Showdown

So I just got to Japan this last week and the jet lag has kicked my ass. Finally though I'm back on a semi-schedule and have started working out. Monday I was able to get to the gym and I worked back and biceps.
