How I Started:
I am a college athlete and I have always loved working out however lately it has taken much more of a role in my life. I tore my acl, mcl, and damaged my meniscus playing basketball. It was my first game of the season 3 min. in. I wasn't even doing anything cool...I was on a fast break and pulled up for the jumper at the free throw. Some out of control girl tripped about 3 yards from me and instead of stopping herself she tucked and rolled and tagged me with her back. She hit me on the left side of my left knee right as I came down from my shot. It devistated me and while waiting 2 months for surgery and a lot of recooping time I lost so much muscle and gained a lot of fat. I was really down for a while, but I am a fighter and my goal is to be stronger and look better than I ever have!
Why I Love It:
Welll...aside from the fact that I love the adrenaline rush of a hard work out, I also like the fact that I am not your average girl at the gym. I am a full figured athlete, and I lift hard. I like when I get a compliment on how hard i work or how much I can lift=]
How I Stay Motivated:
Honestly my progress. I push myself so hard and eat right so that I get results fast. It just fuels me to keep going.
*Lift 3 times a week alternating arms and legs
*Cardio 3 times a week (tredmill, eliptical, sprints)
*Abs 4 times a week (2 weighted and 2 without weight)
*Switch off from high reps to lower reps while increasing
weight for 2 weeks and then to burnouts for 2 weeks
*I am always changing...
well when your on vacation its ok to eat what ever, thats why its called vacation. i am still on my low carb diet so i can take a good pic for rep[s magazine.

I feel you girl. Just try and stay focused and keep yo' eyes on the prize! My training has been slow, but once my kiddies go back to school next week, oh it's ON!!!LOL
