Overall Goal: I want to see some abs, and with a recent injury, I will be focusing on weight loss for a change instead of just lifting...

When I Started:
How I Started:
It occurred to me recently that you never see old people that are fat - hmmm.... wonder why?
I love my wife and sons, and figure I need to stay healthy and get back in shape - putting some real effort into it for a change!
Why I Love It:
I have followed the bodybuilding scene for over 20 years now, but never personally dedicated myself to personally achieving the look. ALthough I have gone through excercise spurts, I would say my efforts have been intermittent at best.
How I Stay Motivated:
I lived in Perrysburg, Ohio for the last five years, and went to the Arnold Classic the last two years. I moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area last July, and attended the Nationals here last year. Seeing all the people on stage (and in the audience!) in such good shape inspires me for what can be accomplished through diet and excercise!

Have you seen this guy's pictures..?!?! He was up to 350 pounds, and now he is one trim, solid beast of a man! And on top of it, he frequently checks up on me to keep me encouraged - what more could you ask for from an inspirational member?
Before & after pictures are incredible! Just an average-looking guy to start with, but did the work & stuck with his diet for his competition, and did an awesome job! Very detaled meal plan in his blog, and lots of hard work!
Went to the gym today intending to work quads, hams, and calves. After quads, I changfed my mind and decided to hit chest because #1) it just felt like I needed it, and #2) I will be on the road again next week, and wanted to make sure I hit it hard with the right equipment.
seeing abs is a great motivator! Take care of your injury and give it time to heal. Good plan on working on the eating while letting it rest! have a great day!
Man I'm doing good. Glad to hear from you big bro. Sorry to hear about the injury. Try Super Cissius (see my page on supplements). This suff man got me back in the game. I couldn't lift my arm above my head, could't DB press, or flat bench. Forget about lifting above my head. Today? I can do it all pain free.
