Overall Goal: I'm getting married in Feb. 2010, planning on doing my first competition in April 2010, and becoming a CPT. 2010 is going to be the best year yet! Special shout outs to STEVEP78/TEAM POYNTER and the "DO WORK" CREW. TRANSFORMATION OF THE WEEK OVER 40!
I have always been skinny. I decided back in March 2006 that I really wanted to change my body. I found a 24 hour gym and made a personal commitment to transform my body. I didn't realize that working out would help me get through a tough period in my life. My marriage ended in divorce and I became a single dad. Weight training really helped me to deal with the stress and pressure that I was feeling. As I began to see my body transform I realized that I could change my life. I believe challenges come into our lives to make us stronger. We don't always understand the reasons why, but we have to trust that God knows what is best for us. Even when the situations and circumstances are negative we have to trust Him. If you want to change your body or your life it's not going to be easy. So, let us all face our challenges head on! Set a goal and go for it! If you fail, get up and try again! Never quit!

I'm leaning toward NASM since they are the most popular certification of trainers hired by fitness centers. I'm also gonna get a sports performance certification with NSCA later on
