Overall Goal: My goal is to compete in 2010 and take home some trophies! I will continue to develop my abs with the help of STEVEP78/TEAM POYNTER. Now a member of the "DO WORK" CREW. TRANSFORMATION OF THE WEEK OVER 40! CHECK OUT MY STORY.
Fit Status:
Continue adding mass to my chest, arms and back while staying lean.
I have always been skinny. I decided back in March 2006 that I really wanted to change my body. I found a 24 hour gym and made a personal commitment to transform my body. I didn't realize that working out would help me get through a tough period in my life. My marriage ended in divorce and I became a single dad. Weight training really helped me to deal with the stress and pressure that I was feeling. As I began to see my body transform I realized that I could change my life. I believe challenges come into our lives to make us stronger. We don't always understand the reasons why, but we have to trust that God knows what is best for us. Even when the situations and circumstances are negative we have to trust Him. If you want to change your body or your life it's not going to be easy. So, let us all face our challenges head on! Set a goal and go for it! If you fail, get up and try again! Never quit!
Why I Love It:
I love the way I look and feel. Also, I enjoy the positive feedback I get from friends who remember the old me. I'm know longer little Ricky.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the photos and reading the profiles of others on bodybuilding.com. Observing my own transformation take place before my eyes through photos. The positive comments and feedback from friends.
BB Accomplishments:
When I started I weighed 135lbs. I hit 180 lbs. on 8/26/2008. On 10/8/08 I made it to 185 lbs.

Goal (Long):
I have met my weight gain goal. My long term goal is to maintain a healthy lifestyle so I can enjoy a good quality of life. I'm 40 years old and I realize that what I do today will greatly impact my tomorrow. I would like to maintain a weight of about 175 to 180 pounds, focus on reducing body fat around my abs, implement more cardio training for heart health, and become more cut. My new goal is to compete. I look forward to the challenge.
Steve is just a great guy! His willingness to share his knowledge and personal fitness experience makes him special. Steve has really helped me to achieve my fitness goals. I really appreciate you bro! You definitely inspire me!
I consider Candace a friend. She is encouraging and motivating. She loves to help people and see them reach their goals and dreams. Also, she is beautiful; inside and out. She is just a fantastic person who is a great example of hard work and dedication to fitness. She's the best!
I have been doing a 21 day fast with my church. The fast started on Friday, January 2, 2009 and will end on Thursday, January 22, 2009. January 2nd - January 15th was vegetables, fruit and liquids. January 16th - January 22nd was liquids only. I've decided not to train with weights during the...
OMG!! I'm 2 weeks out!!! I've been so busy, keeping up with the cardio, training, got my suit & shoes, practing the posing....sooo much to do!! I'll keep you posted!!

Hey Ricky sorry I did not get back to you yesterday. No that is the the last place I need to be. My friends go. Yeah the taste is a good but I cannot go. I am losing more of my midsection and and I do not need to create more fat. LOL it is nothing but a exotic pig festival anyway. LOL

hi sweetie just log in for a few mins..im still going at it much harder than ever..and im getting somewhere now.. it pays off the strive and determination..ive meet my weight goal 120 now i focus on getting tone and rip that will take a while.. how about you???lol
