Background

When I Started: Jun 2006
HOW I STARTED:

I lived on a military school campus when I was 14 and 15. My work outs basically consisted of the basics; push ups and sit ups. When I turned sixteen I got a gym membership, thanks to my lovely mom, and that is where I spend most of my time.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Working out helps me relieve stress from this busy life of mine.

My Workout Program

Right now im focusing on strength, so I have modified the mad cow 5x5 program to fit my needs.

All my measurements are cold and not-flexing. My arms are 14.25 inches un-flexed and not warmed up.

My workout routines vary. Depends on how my schedule looks. Sometimes I have to adjust my workout routines to accommodate my work and school schedules.

Trying to Get lean again

Yesterday I did cardio a hard 25 minutes. I weighed myself in at 188 without shoes and cloths and I looked at myself in the mirror and I am very disappointed. My short term goal is to get to a 180 with solid muscle. I have eaten much better up to this point. My plan will be to meet my meals on time and to manage my carbs better. This busy lifestyle sometimes makes me take a step back on my nutrition.I'm just glad that my grandma is here now and out of the hospital.

worked eleven hours. came home and did homework. Didn't have time for working out. We were remodeling the entire store. Grandma is in the hospital sick with high blood pressure; unfortunately. I feel it all kind of crashing down. Still feel blessed to have my beautiful grandmother, close family and my health. I am currently doing homework. Had no time to visit my grandmother in the hospital today, or to work out.

Worst shape I have been in a while; Game plan.

At 189 I feel and look like shit.  I have allowed my condition of depression to get the best of me. Depression mixed with a busy lifestyle of trying to balance school, homework and my job have left me on a eating out rampage.  I have been cheating more and more mostly and subway because eating their same sub over and over can be quite bland. I have no one to motivate me so It's all up to me to get myself out of this rut.  I have stopped taking my animal packs for a couple of months and need to make it a priority to take my vitamins daily. andreb Thanks....The Great White North but this part of Canada has been quite mild and very little snow over the last month. About 5-8cm today or about 2-3 in but that certainly doesn't phase anyone up here. Andre Jan 15, 2011 5:22pm
