When I Started:
Sep, 2009
How I Started:
I've been focused on bodybuilding and working out since I was 16 but have gave never been able to commit to a program for longer than 4-6 months at a time.
Why I Love It:
I love the discipline and the excuse to eat and sleep. I also love the confidence it gives me and how it keeps my head clear.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation has always been the hardest thing for me when it comes to bodybuilding. I can keep myself motivated for about 6 months by looking at myself in the mirror and reminding myself about how good I feel, but eventually a little voice starts trickling in that asks me if it's really worth it. Eventually I give in. I'm hoping that being more involved with this community will help me keep going and reach my goals.

Goal (Long):
I love the displine of bodybuilding and always have the motivation to get me going for 4-5 months. Eventually, I begin to question my reasons for doing this and thoughts of living a simpler less disciplined life enter into my head. I want to stay focused for at least a year which will hopefully lead to the rest of my life. I tend to be hard on myself allowing very little room for error, and I think that if I allow some flexibility and a few mistakes here and there I will go a lot farther than I ever have.
