I had actually lost about 20 pounds at the time this picture was taken. Down from about 260 the year before. But not brave enough to take off my shirt for a photo
About 182 pounds ... I need to include some serious cardio to begin burning fat though.
I want to add muscle and get ripped before summer is here. I'd like to compete in 12-18 months.
Goal (Long):
Ultimately, I would like to look in the mirror and know that I am now in the best shape of my life. Ideally, at about 190 - 200 pounds and be firm - if not solid. I'm actually a little under that now, but I want to lean out more and then put back on some muscle.
For the last few years I have participated in the Race For The Cure at The Mall Of America along with some co-workers. We had always opted for the 5k walk, but this year a co-worker talked me into joining her for the run - 5k. I was apprehensive to say the least ... I have been neglecting...
thank you! :) (i sound like a broken record, huh?) you know, i am surprised that i've stuck with it with as much focus as i have but it has been fun every step of the way, and i suppose that's why. it's been fun to see what i'm capable of, not just physically, but mentally.. and we're gonna find out next sunday EXACTLY how well prepared i am :)
thank you, ken!! :) race time is 0630 PST.. this time next sunday i'll be a few miles into the bike.. AAAHHHH!! =) hope all is well and that you're having a super sunday :)
Thanks. Minnesota sweet :0) Loving my Nectar...I feel like I'm cheating. Tried the roadside lemonade...it was ok...the crystal sky was a little better bit the Caribean Cooler..YUM!!!!
Actually, I started to get sick of them.....then I actually got a virus that knocked me flat......my sweet 9 yr old daughter came upstairs where I felt like I was dying and offered me a handful of Junior Mints (LMAO) and I about lost it!! Haven't had much of an interest in them lately (lol) :)
thank you!! i must admit, i am completely having the time of my life this season! it feels so amazing to be conditioned properly and to recover so quickly from my long trainings.. =) so tell me.. big summer plans?
