How I Started:
I got started with working out when I was told by my Dr it was time to make some major changes and that he was willing to help me make that happen. I have been working hard at it since then.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good, and nothing is a better rush than when someone says "Damn you look good" or "That is you in that picture?"
I LOVE.....
spinning, pilates, yoga, hip-hop based cardios, Kickboxing, and running.
I really love running to raise money for charity!
How I Stay Motivated:
BY looking at old pictures or by thinking about how far I have come and what a good example I want to set for my children.
I would like to accomplish this by the end of 2009. I would also like to tone up and see more definition on the thighs and upper body as well. My last goal is to be able to do the next couple 5Ks with better finishing positions.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Set small attainable goals. In knowing that I have such a large amount of weight to loose I set small goals of about 10lb increments and when I reached the first goal I set the next. What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Maybe Queen Latifah or Beyonce, someone with a REAL body and REAL curves that still looks SMOKIN'.
