The 300 Workout
The workout gets its name from the total number of repetitions. But those 300 reps weren't done daily, as some media accounts report, Twight says. Rather, the 300 workout was the finale...

Thanks man! My training partner decided he wanted to compete and bugged me until I agreed to compete with him. So in 3 months I had to clean up my act and get ready. I have 2 months more to go to compete but I think I will be ready. I have posted all of my workouts and meals for the last 3 months on my blog. Check it out.

No ab exercises, just whats in my program. I do weighted chin ups and pull ups which both work abs :)

I started at the beginning of the year (08) doing 100% Cardio. About 3 months into it I got serious about my diet and started eating a lot cleaner. I gradually started adding strength training and reducing the amount of cardio. The Cardio was my primary method of burning the fat. Now I'm focusing more on weights in an attempt to add more muscle.

I can predict the future... I went to Vernon and Grand Forks in the Southern interior of BC Canada to spend some time with family. Took my 5 year old skiing then my wife and I got to do some skiing on our own as well. Lots of fun.

If it makes you feel any better, I just got back from a weeks vacation. I managed to gain 4 pounds in one week. But I was able to take it off just as fast, so keep at it, hit the gym hard, and eat right. Take care.

It's a good workout split to help you bust out of plateau's. Search in the articles section for "tri-phase" to get more info on it. Team Scivation has a training series out on it. Thanks for the compliment!

anabolic diet- eat high protein (55%), fat (45%), and low carbs (less than 10% or 30-40g/day) for 5 days then do a carb up for 2 days with high clean carbs, protein, and low fat. I also do 45sec of medium pace jump rope between sets. Helps keep heart rate up during workouts without losing muscle mass.
