I've been an athlete most my life, competing in soccer, basketball and track. For the past three years I've competed in soccer at the collegiate level. However, due to an injury this past fall I'm foregoing my senior year, so this past December I started training for my first bodybuilding competition...

How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing the progressions in my physique are all I need to stay motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
My major bodybuilding competition will take place in just 15 days...Stepping on stage for the very first time.
Just recently I started gearing my weighting training regiment towards prepping myself for my first bodybuilding competition. I will have begun my bodybuilding-specific training 20 weeks out from the competition date and my dieting roughly 15 weeks out. I've been lifting for years now and have a relatively solid background as far as weight training is concerned; however, in the past my training programs have catered more to athlete-oriented and structured programs as I've been a collegiate athlete for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, due to injury I will no longer be competing in soccer at the collegiate level and have decided to take up bodybuilding as my competitive nature always has my yearning to push myself beyond my physical limitations.
