How I Started:
Had to, in order to stay alive.
Why I Love It:
Keeps me free from the daily grind. During a good workout, I forget where I am at, and recharged for the next mission.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just do it! Someday it VERY difficult to be. Somedays it is very easy. I know that sounds stupid, if you are here in Iraq, you understand what I mean.
It is good to back home in the states! I am now more determined than ever to hit my goals. Since being back I hit the gym 5 days a week, 1.5 to 2hrs per workout. I can now get whatever supps I need (when I need them!), and go to whatever gym, at whatever time I want, without having to wait...
Thank you very much for saying that you find me inspirational. I am both deeply humbled as well as truly honored to receive such praise. I have been amazed by what fitness has done to improve almost all aspects of my life. Rest assured that I will continue to work to help eradicate the epidemic of obesity that is crippling our population and to prove that fitness has no age limit.
Stay strong, focused & determined and may God bless.
3 more weeks brother! Change of plans man. Since I'm looking to PCS by March, I need to cut weight really quick so that I can train back at my original start weight which was 183 and no more than 189 so I dont need to be taped and held back from going to San Antone. Not sure if you still wanna train together upon re-deploy;let me know. Hows your training coming along?-"Doc"
