When I Started:
How I Started:
When I was in 7th grade, my mother bought a weight bench from a garage sale. It came with an Arnold workout book which became my bible. I read that book 100 times over and took it with me everywhere I went.
Why I Love It:
The gym is my sanctuary. I just crank my IPod full blast so I hear nothing but my own pumps going through my head. I love my weekly strength increases and how invigorated I feel when I walk out of a strong workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
Pictures. Photos of girls who have made it big in the world of competitive fitness. I want other women in my shoes to view me in that light someday.
BB Accomplishments:
I competed in my first show this past May and plan to compete again in November.
Placed third in Open D Class. Qualified for Nationals!
Goal (Long):
After completing my first NPC figure competition, I have reassessed what I need to do to improve my overall quality on stage. I have 19 weeks until my first National Qual, and I plan to put on the mass without gaining fat. Thus far, I have gained 13 pounds since competition day (I was too light to begin with) and sit at about 13 percent body fat. Not bad, huh? Counting down until show time: November 28th. Bring it!
Jaime has the total package- a great figure, a strong desire to succeed, and a down-to-earth personality. The first time I saw her on the cover of Oxygen, I immediately knew that I wanted to be a figure competitor. Thanks Jamie!

Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
I am so much happier when I am fit. I feel better inside and out which affects how I behave. I feel motivated, sexy, and of course want to be super hot for my husband all the time.
Talk about inspiration! Going to the Olympia Expo kick my ass into high gear and I plan to push myself harder than ever before. I want to earn pro status and know what it takes to get there. These gorgeous ladies weren't overnight celebrities and defeated many battles to get up on that stage....
I stopped by to say congratulations and that you look absolutely amazing! I want to compliment you on your dedication, determination and achievement. You are a fantastic example of what can be done when someone decides to do it and a great inspiration to so many others. I wish you nothing but success. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Hi there...I read your blog on the diet dated April 15, 2009 and would like to know how long you followed it for? If you had carb up days and how you found the diet? I look forward to hearing from you
