How I Started:
I have always been active and worked out with my dad as a kid. Then in 2001 i got diagnosed with kidney failure and was put on dialysis (which is a machine that filters your blood and acts like a fake kidney that hooks up to a tube thats put in your body) every night throughout high school my junior and senior year. I had to do a complete 360 with my life. No more soccer, track, or any sports. My health wouldn't allow me to. I would be so fatigued it would be hard for me to walk up my stairs. I lost alot of weight bcause i had to be on a VERY strict diet. After two and a half years of dialysis, my mom gave me the gift of life, she gave me her kidney and things looked brighter for me. I couldn't wait to get back in the gym and back to my old lifestyle. That was short lived though because right when i started i got diagnosed with epsteen bar virus, which isnt very harmful to normal people but someone in my condition it was bad, at the same time i also got dignosed with stage one lymphoma cancer and had to focus on nothing but my health once more. After another year of doctors, chemo therapy treatments and hospital visits, thats when i started to get better. I started to make it a hobby of mine to get in the gym whenever i could and give it all i got and i haven't stopped. I want to be proof to the millions of people with transplants waiting to receive one and people with health problems that despite the tough times that lie ahead, you can still be and do what you want to do and things will get better. now i am studying to be a personal trainer myself and strive to be in the best shape and health of my life.

You have the power to change the way you look. It gives you greater confidence, health, and it's just a great lifestyle that will benefit you and educate you during your whole life.
How I Stay Motivated:
Not being able to go to the gym or be active for almost 4 years motivated me to get in the gym whenever i can, no excuses. Not being able to exercise makes you appreciate exercising so much more. When you have health problems it's devastating, your whole life revolves around it. So many people take it for granted and i never will.
BB Accomplishments:
Studying to be a personal trainer. I'm Working on achieving my goals where i stand now and appreciating every moment and time i step into a gym =), you gotta be dedicated, no excuses.just like life..you get what you put into it

My weekend will be the first quite one I've had in a while although I will be starting to pack up my house as I'm moving in just over a week. My fav body part on a guy? hmm... that's tough to answer, maybe legs, particularly quads when they are big and strong. Actually I'm a little different, I usually like that one quirky thing about a guy that makes him unique. Imperfection makes us more interesting :-)
