How I Started:
I've always been athletic - basketball, volleyball, tennis, whatever - and done karate and kung fu for 30 years. But whatever condition I was in was an accidental outgrowth of those activities rather than a fucussed plan to build my body. I started with the Bowflex to get lean, and decided to see how far I could build with it.
Why I Love It:
I look better, feel better, and younger.

Goal (Long):
To hit the Steve Reeves measurement ideal by the time I turn 50 next year. By measuring each joint, his formula determines the ideal muscle belly size for symmetry. Chest-48.5 Waist-33 Hips-42 Bi ceps-18.5 Forearm-14.5 Thigh-28 Calf-18 Neck-18.5 Bench 1.5 x's bodyweight and squat 2 x's body weight (I'm close!!!) That's the goal, anyway.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Always have a goal. Surround yourself with like minded fit people. Study fitness methods, events, reports, etc.

I don't really. Stick a chicken breast on the grill. Open a can of tuna. Boil the rice. Peel the banana. That's about it for recipes.

i have no idea what i did, it was sort of sore the other night, i thought maybe from practicing in the heals lol, but omg today , i almost got stuck on the hamstring machine. so i went to chiro, the closet one i cld find, last time i was at one was like 12 years ago. Anyway it fning hurt i screamed loud cried said get your f-n hand off me cried more cause i felt bad for yelling that. He was going to push my shoulder back while rotating my hips. hell it was , my life flashed before my eyes lol
