How I Started:
I am a 30 year old man who has been overweight all my life. I've always been active in martial arts, and sports all my life. I just never could seem to lose weight.
So back in Nov. 2003, I decided that it was time to lose weight. I walked for exercise mostly, and did the slimfast diet. I went from 320lbs to 299lbs in three months.
At the end of Jan., I started my job training. This turned out to be one of the best decissions of my healthful life. They had a personal dietition.
She put me on a 1500 cal diet, and I was introduced to the eliptical. I also took "Stacker 2". from the end of Jan. to June, I went from 299lbs to 213lbs.
For awhile it was great. I looked good, and felt even better. Unforturenetly I lost it too fast, and gained it back even faster.
So felt with depression I decided in June of 2008 that it was time to get myself in order. I joined the gym, and decided to attack my weight from a different approach. "BODYBUILDING"!!!
I started out at about 56% bodyfat, and have come down to about 32% fat at last check(Feb 27, 2009).
My waist has went from 54" to 42", and still shrinking. My weight has maintained between 249, and 256 but my waist line keeps getting smaller, so I know I'm on the right track.
Now I'm addicted to my pump, and can't get enoughyou get .
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because I can see real results. Not just pounds here and there, like when you train for fat loss. I also love it because of the attention I recieve now.
Unforturenetly, I have had the "3 bad B's" against me all my life. I'm BIG(Fat)", "Black", and "legally BLIND". It has always been hard for me. Never had a girlfriend growing up. I never had the opportunity to do most of the things that most people got to to all around me. Things like, being able to see all the hot cars, but just not enough sight to drive one. Being top of my class in AirForce ROTC, but not being able to join the Airforce, etc.
So I finally found something that I can do, and I love the attention that I'm starting to get. It's addicting like a drug.

Great Recipe:
ASIAN TUNA WRAP
Ingredients
1 can Light Chunk Tuna
2 oz. Low fat Asian dressing
1/2 c. Bean sprouts
1/2 c. Napa Cabbage(shredded)
1/2 c. Lettuce(shredded)
1/4 c. Diced Green Onions(scallons)
1 dash Brown Mustard
Salt/Pepper to taste
Wheat wraps
Mix all ingredients together. Place in wheat wrap, and enjoy.
