Background

When I Started: no information entered
HOW I STARTED:

I needed to loose weight, was 260 in high school. Had early signs of Type 2 Diabetes and was unhappy with my future outcome at 19.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the strength advancements. Move some many heavy objects around the house and out during the weekends. Makes life that much easier. I have a passion for health and life everyday committed to better health.

Type 2 Diabetes...easy?

Posted in Training  :  Dec 28, 2010 6:33pm
So many people are under the believe or assumption that Type 2 Diabetes is easy to over come.  If this were true, why do we still have approximately 15 million Americans with this disease? So believe it is based on obesity, that every "fat" person will contract this disease.  This is NOT true.  Obesity triggers the disease to surface, however does not cause people to contract this.  Most, not all, but most people with Diabetes are born with a Pancreas deficiency, which will cause low levels of blood glucose, causing Type 2 Diabetes. Unfortunately for most people s...

What makes a True Health Enthusiast?

Posted in Training  :  Dec 28, 2010 6:33pm
Is it going to the gym? Wrong Is it reading the latest diet plans from your magazine? Wrong Is it being a personal trainer? Not necessarily What makes a true health enthusiast is someone who is passionate about providing others health tips, whether for free or by some book they write or seminar they put on.  A true health enthusiast is someone who shares a life long passion about themselves to serve themselves and their bodies better.  Doesn't have to be a Doctor, or physician or even a personal trainer. I find that many people share a passion for a better future through the use of p...

Imagine a perfect you!

Posted in Training  :  Dec 28, 2010 6:33pm
Better Sleep, More Energy, More lifestyle, More Happiness!    That all can be achieve with proper nutrition. Why guess at what you should take as for a supplement. When you buy a supplement, most supplements are made for the "general" public, these supplements are not gene specific. However I have been looking at something for a short while now that will change all that. This new supplement is made directly from your DNA from test kit which you, as the customer, uses and sends back to the company. The test is wholly confidential and all materials are destroyed aft...

bachovas
bachovas Train your ass off and work on getting stronger. No magic, just lots of clean eating and lots of heavy lifting. You must not be doing one of those if you ain't getting results. When I started lifting at my fattest, I couldn't bench 100lbs or squat 135. When I was down to 186lbs, I couldn't bench 185lbs or squat 225. It's been a hell of a battle since then. All I can tell you is to do work. Jul 18, 2008 8:21am
