I played baseball in college and learned to love 5 am workouts. I guess that has stuck with me through the years. Even when I did too many 12 ounce curls. Now my competitive edge has me getting back to the shape (and level of ripped) I was in while playing baseball.
Why I Love It:
There is something to be said about not being able to walk out of the gym!
How I Stay Motivated:
I like the 'After' in before and after! Plus setting one small goal a day helps me stay in the gym as long as I need to be there.
I need help getting off sodas/caffeine/sugar products? Anybody have a good idea to help me? I have about 16 oz of dr. pepper in the mornings and I am not one to shy away from sweet tea either. But, I cant break through to under 12% bf for some reason.
Hi! Things are going well over here, still training, and reducing my running to 3 days a week has made leg days so much easier to do.
I am LOVING weights, and I never thought I would with the misconception of women always get big if they lift heavy weights. Being on the BB.com community has given me the opportunity to educate myself about nutrition and meal timing, which plays a very big role on the outcome of the efforts you put in the gym.
How are things with you?
to see the number go up on the scale would be detrimental to my mental health so i will least likely to step on it for the next month or so when i am trying to put on some muscles ... but i am training for a half marathon as well so running will have to be done first thing in the morning. it will be fun, i am excited to see what level of fitness i can achieve with my newly found commitment to it ...
The thing is, one of two things happen: they either take 15 minutes (no exaggeration, I timed one once) between sets, or else they NEVER USE IT. It's like we're all just supposed to be impressed I guess?
Its a bit late to comment on your shrug blog but i think up and down!No rolling and overhead barbell press is good!Best wishes to you in all your goals,Michael.
