hmm...love looking good and the gratification factor is incredible!
I also am a biochemistry major (nutritional biochemistry and metabolism, to be exact! ha!) so one day I can explain why "this" works, "that" doesn't, and so I can some day come up with something intriguing regarding anything related to the above. Basically, to help all of us become more efficient in our practice!
oh and also, if you're a total creeper don't add me because I will kill you in your sleep : )
How I Stay Motivated:
Actually...I don't know. lol. I love food and sometimes I ask myself why I do this and why don't I just go eat a dozen donuts!
actually photoshoots motivate me..that way I know I have something I absolutely have no choice but to look fantastic for!
I wouldn't be trying so hard if it wasn't for the few accomplished women I look up to every day: Val Waugaman (she's from my hometown), Vanessa Adams, Felicia Romero, Sarah Campbell-Block(a good friend), and Amanda Savell(rip<3); their physiques & much more are constant inspiration!
BB Accomplishments:
getting picked up by the emcee and photographer of my last show for a mag spread...since I was the only one who was scouted out of 170 girls it was so flattering!
Also, becoming a writer for bodybuilding.com is my most recent one! I am so thrilled to be a part of the bodybuilding.com family now and to be able to learn and share what I have learned with you all.

before i dieted down in the fall, I was a solid 145 with 18%bf. TOO BIG for figure. now (2009) I have lost a bit of this muscle to be able to conform to the judges' standards
uhmm im less than a week out & im salt loading, water loading & am bloated as a mother. I cut my carbs at 12 this afternoon until thurs night when I carb up, only eating protein, veggies & nuts (& only protein/nuts/pb when I water deplete starting Weds)...
***anyways I CAN'T...
I have a bad habit of getting into routine-pretty much 3 that I follow, but I do manage to switch them up every so ofter (mix up muscle groups, go real light or super heavy, etc). cardio depends if I am prepping for a show or not.

Day 1- Legs
Day 2- Back
Day 3- Shoulders

Day...
I still eat fruit just not as much. We all know fruit is healthy so it probably isn't a good idea to cut it out completely. I don't add a lot but I would rather eat fruit then a whole wheat carb. But I do both. I just keep the portiion sizes smaller.

Sorry to hear that, my show forecast looks to be several shows this fall. Probably about 5 natty shows, definitely Liberman's fall show in lakewood & some OCB and NANBF shows. We'll see. Anxious to check out Jerry Beck's new gym on W. 150th Iron Asylum.
