rest ....or take a day off mid-week. just depends.
Low reps, high weight. 10/7/5/15(half the weight).
No need, EVER, to do light weight. It's myth.
Also, FST-7 and GVT sparingly.

I've researched ketogenic diets clinically,
and I will always advocate them. Simply put. I don't stay lean year round, but when I do diet it's this method. I have also done the warrior diet and try and use a phased approach.
Right after winter when I am fat-lol, who knows what I mean-I do the warrior diet for awhile. And then I switch into keto. I try to keep my fats low, and don't feel like you need a fat with EVERY meal.

frankly, i think they are pointless......but
I use "protein"--however that's a macro not a supplement. lol. Casein and isolate only.
I take my sponsor's products - Cellucor - R3 recovery, D4 thermal shock, T7...but if I didn't get them for free I would never take them. ha. I take taurine also.
That's about it!

I feel like no real motivation is the best!!
...weird, I know. I say this because sometimes you just don't want to do anything! This has happened to me for months at a time, and you know what? I’m totally okay with it! Getting burnt out stinks, but instead of making it worse I just let it take it’s course.
Track cycling makes me feel obligated to stick to my diet because I already know that I train harder than these girls in the gym and the thing making me better than my competition is my discipline in regards to diet. Cyclists usually don’t eat at all, and when they do they eat terribly.
i cant stop eating bad food! LOL. my first day back in the gym was yesterday....leg day. today is back, but i seriously can't stop! i need to get back on my diet but work is sabotaging me with bringing me so many goodies!!!!! cookies, cakes, muffins, cheesecake, candy, peanut butter, pretzels, chocolates... enough already. :( but first place... i feel like i deserve it a little bit! lol. just not this gluttony.
