When I Started:
Jan, 1997
How I Started:
Started lifting for sports in high school back in the day and i wanted to lose my pudge.
Why I Love It:
It keeps my health above the general public and building my body makes me different than your average joe
How I Stay Motivated:
by setting and breaking goals, knowing that someone else will be stronger/bigger than me in an area and wanting to catch up to them. planning on competing in July 2010 in Georgia
BB Accomplishments:
No bodybuilding contest yet, I've competed in two amatuer strongman competitions in Richmond, Va and Pittsburgh, PA
I've always been a bigger boy my whole life (whether my younger years when i carried a lil more pudge then i should of or now as a lil more built version). I've always wanted to be a bigger guy, just a ripped version not the I'm big but my gut sticks out further than my chest. Gaining weight is easy for me, hell i can smell a donut and gain, but i want more muscle added to my frame. I want to be that guy that ppl look at in the gym and desire to be match my build. Using this time being deployed and using the spare time I do have to concentrate and take my stress out on training hard in the gym. the diet will be hard since i won't have much of a decision on the food prepared on the ship, but i know if i focus my energy and make sure i get the right nutrients in, i will achieve my goal and come back a a new me.
What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
don't let little slip ups in your program hender your final goal. you can always recover. You can't just quit after a week or two and say you gave it a shot, nothing works that fast.

optimum nutrition bcaa and 24 grams of optimum nutrition protein. In order to grow you need to have some fuel for your body to repair itself. By already having some protein and aminos ready to go before your workout, your body can use it to repair itself while your destroying it in the gym. you wouldn't put gas in your car before a long drive would you.optimum nutrition bcaa and 24 grams of optimum nutrition protein.
