I was challenged by my little brother to go into the gym and see what I could do. I quickly found out that I wasn't as tough as I thought I was. Or at least as I used to be. I knew I needed to changed my whole concept of fitness.
Why I Love It:
I love the burn, the intensity. I like it when I get one more rep than I used to get or adding one more plate.
How I Stay Motivated:
There will always be someone who's bigger or stronger out there. I look to those who have never quit this lifestyle and admire them.
I would like to increase strength and muscle mass while losing the extra fat that I carry around.
Goal (Long):
I have always been stronger than I look. I would like to have the body to match. For most of my adult life I have been an underacheiver in regards to my level of fitness. This year that is all going to change! I am going to be a beast in the gym and I'm going to do it the right way; through research, effort and determination!
Well I have been back lifting now for about seven weeks. I have made tremendous strength gains and have put on what seems to be a ton of muscle. I set some goals in the beginning that I now realize were way out of bounds. For one, I wanted to drop weight to 235 pounds. Ive been going...
