I have been pretty active my whole life, I just have never paid attention to my health and my weight. I have been a Gold's gym member since I was about 12 and played tennis at a location near me.
Why I Love It:
Makes me happy, takes my mind off things that might be stressing me out, I love seeing results!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep in my mind the goals that I have for myself. I tell myself "I'm stronger than I think am." I just think about how great I will feel when I'm at my goal.

This is before I started working out regularly and eating well. As you can tell....
This is better, But not where i want to be still. I have more work to do and fat to lose, time to buckle down.
Well. Here's the run down. All my life I have been fat, or you can put it a nice way, "chubby." My whole life. When I was in the 8th grade I lost about 30 pounds with my mom on a diet called "Healthy Inspirations." I loved it because my mom and I were losing the weight together. Near the end of the weight loss, the lady at the Healthy Inspiration center told me that I shouldn't lose any more weight for my height and age. I didn't feel like I was done losing what I had wanted so I got totally pissed off and from that point (over a couple of years) I put back on the weight that I lost plus about 60 more pounds. It was horrible. I was in total denial of my weight when I reached my peek weight of about 200. I covered my huge insecurities by being funny and obnoxious. I just now looked back at some before pictures i had taken in the summer of 2006 and it made me sick to my stomach. Since then I have lost about 55 pounds. I started seriously watching what I eat and working out daily in Feb 2008. Then I was about 170. Now I weigh 145. I have never felt so good in my life, but I know I can feel better. My goals for right now is to drop about 20 more pounds, get toned, and gain more confidence! I want to be able to encourage people everywhere who want to lose weight.
wow you are really looking good, it is great to take control and make changes that you want to do.. i made a similar change about a year ago and loving it now.. good luck as you continue to progress
