When I Started:
Mar, 2004
How I Started:
My dad passed because of a stroke..and I just want to make sure I stay as healthy as possible.
Why I Love It:
I love the transformations and once you see the visible results from all the long hours, sacrifices, blood, sweat and tears you put in it...it's amazing! It makes every extra push and pull soooo worth it!
How I Stay Motivated:
"Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work very hard!"
I know I have one body and that's all I have in this life. I want to make sure it's the best it can possibly be! If I don't take care of it now, I won't have anything to take care of when I'm 40!
Well, I didn't want to find myself in this spot again...EVER, but I am. Over the course of 2008 I learned my lesson the hard way. At the beginning of '08 I found my weight to be in the low 140's (close to my record high of 151 in high school!) and I knew I needed the change...I never wanted to...
Another "Quick Note": my original comment was meant to say fat grows over muscle (which is true) not muscle grows over fat (geeze Fat Alber would be Mr. O!). Sorry for the Brain Fart and keep you chin up!
Fazer
Two quick notes: 1. Muscle grows over fat, not bone, nature is harsh that way; 2.The more muscle you carry the more calories you'll burn- maybe it's time to "force the issue" with those ball-kicking appendages? (LEGS!)
You've got a good attitude and deserve much success.
Happy 2009!

Good luck with your goals. My dad had a heart attack 8 years ago (his is ok) and that was a wakeup call for me....although it took me another 5 years to get my ass is gear and change my habits.
Yeah I'm doing my own variation of BFL too (lol). Did the same thing last time, but what works works and is what ever we will stick to. So I kind of switched mine around also, but it's coming along. Happy to see the fat coming off my stomach though :)
