How I Started:
I've never really been big into fitness or nutrition. I've worked out off and on for the past 3 years. After 9 months of sitting on my butt I finally decided I was ready to get in shape. With the help of my friend Wendy I'm on my way to losing weight and gaining muscle.
Why I Love It:
I'd have to say that the physical change I can see with my body is one of the main reason I love working out. Pushing my body through the last set of reps is well worth the burn.
How I Stay Motivated:
Compliments from friends and family are a big factor of my motivation. I think about the way I would like my body to look and continue to push myself to the limit. Wendy is also a great motivator. She pushes me in the gym and always has great words of encouragement. Not to mention she won Transformation of the Week for 8/20/07!!

This was taken the first week I started my routine. I was 143 pounds. I decided that I need to lose some weight and gain some muscles. As you can see, I wasn't extremly thrilled to take the pic.

I definitely have been hitting up the incline. friend took me down there so now that I know where it is I am trying to hit it once a week! such a blast to do. also looking at buying a bike here in the near future to get around town, and get me healthier (in multiple ways). how is everything going with you recently?
things are going good for sure! learning more and more every day, trying to lose the fat while gaining some muscle. hope you guys are doing well. That saturday was great, I spent the whole day outside!
