Background

When I Started: Jan 2000
HOW I STARTED:

I started lifting weights Jan 2000 b/c I was tired of being skinny. I was hooked immediately. I began competing in power lifting meets in Feb 2005 in Germany & bodybuilding Oct 2005. Knowing what I know now I wish I had started much earlier! Guess I gotta work extra hard & make up for that lost time!

WHY I LOVE IT:

It's a stress reliever for me & I also like to watch the transformation of my body. I've made decent gains in the 9 years I've been lifting. Bodybuilding along with the Air Force has taught me to be more responsible & disciplined!

nadirah24 Take care on deployment and enjoy the DC area with your family...I get up to Baltimore every once in a while. Met with my coach today and she cut all my fruits and veggies down to only green beans or asparagus...no more almond milk, etc. Let the fun begin :) May 15, 2012 3:40pm
