I only place 7 out of 13 in this competition. So now Im doing it again and its Nov.14th!
Goal (Long):
Ive always worked out but until about 2 years ago I just couldnt loose weight. I was fit but to me just a little to chubby. Plus I had 2 boys, both C-section and I gained 85lbs with my second. I finally had enough and did a 6 week diet where I didnt eat carbs, fat, sugar and worked out very hard and lost about 30 lbs and had kept it off. I felt better and looked better and it just made me want to keep going. Then I ran into this lady at the gym and loved the way her back looked and just loved the muscle and she mentioned a fitness contest and I thought to myself, "Im not that far off from looking like you", I can do it if I diet and train real hard so I started the diet 12 weeks from May 2nd and I have 5 more weeks to go. I was about 132 and Im now 120 and want to make my legs tighter. I am giving it a 110% for this competition and I just want to learn and watch the other people too, these women are fantastic and look beautiful. I want to maintain my weight even after the show to about 128 or 125 and Im gonna just try real hard to keep to the foods Im eating now but actually be able to indulge once in a while..I give myself 5 weeks and forever to look the best I can maintain.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
Upcoming Contest:
2009 Grand Prix Natural Body Building & Womens Figure Championship

What is your cardio exercise plan?
I do 40 mins of cardio after I do weights. I pretty much do everything on cardio. I only last about 10 to 20 min on 1 machine and I switch it up all the time. I dont do the same cardio day in and day out. The more you switch the better your body reacts.I do 40 mins of cardio after I do weights. I pretty much do everything on cardio. Where do you get your workout programs?
From the magazine Oxygen and from Bodybuilding.com site...ALL THE TIME!
I don't know much about the sugar thing but water I think you drink a crap load (like 6 litres a day) then you cut it in half a week before the comp. Then each day you get to less and less so your body pulls the water from from between your muscles and skin. I think on the day before you're down to a litre a day, if that, and the day of it's nothing but a few sips here and there. I can ask my hubby tonite, he should know for sure.
Yup, she's in the top 6 most viewed profiles on the home page. Some women can be so funny. It's not like you're competing against them, you know?? lol I hope you find the info you're looking for!!! I wish I could help. :)
I know exactly what you're saying. I don't know much about contest training yet. The girl you're talking to has to be able to take constructive critism if she's serious about this sport. It's all about bettering yourself. Anyway, alot of the pros around here don't mind answering questions. Like amysuds for example. She's awesome.
