I have battled an eating disorder for 18 years. About a year and a half ago I decided that I was sick of being sick, started training and changed my life....but it has not been easy.
Why I Love It:
The fact that I can look in the mirror and like what I see is a a new concepts to me. I know that everyday I am doing something that is good for my health and body.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about how sick and sad and depressed I was for so long, I have a goal to compete this year and kick ass...that is my motivation. Staying alive is my motivation.
My goals have changes lateley. I want to stay healthy and happy. I am in school and I want to finish my Doctorate and help people with eating disorders, body image issues, sexual problems, and addictions.
I am going to compete this season. Its been a while and I am ready now. Up until this year, competing was another form of a disorder for me, but Im in a better place and I have someone special looking out for me to make sure I stay strait!!!
I am competing in the FAME organization, at the end of October.

I want to LOSE 8 lb

Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
I work with a trainer 4 days a week. I am competing this year with a very good friend. I train her 3-4 days a week. I have always been in this by myself and that is why I was always falling off the edge with becoming obbesessive or sliding back to my eating disorder. Now I have someone that I have to answer to basically when it comes to my issues. She gives me constant motivation and makes me feel great about myself. I think that it is very beneficial to have a workout partner. I am a trainer and I think that if you can afford it...everyone should have a trainer!!! What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Right now I am trying to put on some size and of coarse stay lean so I just eat clean and healthy. 6 meals a day. Its not rocket science...just be healthy and treat your body good.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
No ones. I am an individual and I like the body I have...of coarse it needs a few tweaks.
I deleted all my old blogs...I read thru them and realized how obsessive and negative I was toward myself. I am in a much different place now, and I dont even want to remind myself of how I was.

Well...I am hosting the Ava Cowan FAME Classic on May 17th at the War Memorial Auditorium in Ft. Lauderdale!! I would love for you to be apart of the show!
And that leg workout changed my legs and gave me new definition I never had before...go heavy 6 reps and use a belt:)
