When I Started:
How I Started:
I was heavily into the martial arts growing up. I also lifted weights in high school. I've worked as a trainer in gyms and even worked at GNC. Sometime in my early 20s I let myself go, and I've been yo-yo-ing ever since. I have the knowledge but somehow seriously lack the motivation to turn myself around.
Why I Love It:
I love to better myself. If I can lift more weight today than I could yesterday, then I am accomplishing something. If I could run further tomorrow than I could today, then I am doing something most others aren't. It's also a great way to keep stress at bay.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation wasn't necessarily a problem. Exercise is just something I felt I needed to do. It's the reasons I love it that keep me going.
I want to get down to a lean 185-190lbs, with good muscle tone.
Goal (Long):
I am currently obese, but I wasn't always this way. The past 6 years have been pretty bad, and I'd like to change that. I want a body I can be proud of. I want my clothes to fit nicely against my skin. I have lost muscle and more than replaced it with fat. I am looking to overhaul myself. I expect to be half-way to my goal within the next 3 months.
