In high school I was unhappy with my body, I joined a gym as soon as I got my license and dropped 20 lbs. Since then I've been addicted.
Now I'm a senior studing Exercise Physiology and Psychology. I am hoping to go to graduate school for nutrition or exercise physiology.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel invigorated and in control of myself. I love being able to push myself both mentally and physically and get the results I'm looking for.
I also get a high from my workouts. I'm more focused and have greater concentration as a result of working out.
How I Stay Motivated:
Variety. I hate doing the same workout twice. I also take a novel to the gym so I have something to occupy my mind during cardio.
I always find a way to incorperate fitness into my life. It's a big part of me, and I want to stay as healthy and independent for as I can for as long as I can. That should be enough motivation for anyone.

Columbus 1/2 Marathon in October 09
I need new goals for 2010!!

I want to be a fitness model, but I have a ton of smaller goals before I can get there. My main problem area is my booty, so I am going to start with losing a few inches on my hip measurements. I also want to work on calisthenics- I'd love to be able to do dips and pull-ups.

AWWW thanks. Impossible are the things we don't try to do. So press on sweetie. Fitness is therapy. Look at you lookin all strong!!! Get girl, i hope u love this site as much as I do. We gotta get tight and trim together, especially over winter intersession and come back lookin cut up. I gotta hit the gym hard this week, u wanna help me move them boys out of the way! so we can actually work
