My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

Bust your ass. Every. Single. Rep.

Headline explains it. If you're in the gym, do work.  Push yourself to your limit everytime.  Whether it be cardio or lifting. Go the fastest and do the heaviest your body can. Always, always, always push for that extra rep or extra distance, that's what makes or breaks you everytime.

Abs are made in the kitchen

This is the weakest part of my fitness game. I try and try to eat as right as I can but sometimes I just get a sweet tooth for ice cream or a cookie and I indulge.  I know its bad but no one is perfect. I'm actively working on it but you can believe if I do get that little bit of sweets that I bust my hump in the gym to take it back off.  If anyone would like to offer me any nutriton advice or tips I'm all for it.

Supplements are tools, not crutches.

Morning: Fish oil, multivitamin, protein

All throughout the day: Protein

Preworkout: C4, Protein (BCAAs are incoming)

Post: Creatine, Casein and Whey Protein

Before bed: Casein


I don't think I have to crazy of a supplement problem.  I use them to assist me to obtain my goals but they aren't the reasoning for my goals, that's good ol' fashion busting my ass.  I think as long as people realize that WHATEVER they take it's a tool and don't make it a crutch that they'll be more successful in the long run.

What motivates me is my personal dedication to always wanting to better myself, be in educationally, physically, emotionally, etc.  I'm never satisfied with current because there can always be better and I want better for myself and my family and I will stop at nothing to give that to them.

kbrocker68 Another good recovery work out!!! This cough left over from my illness sucks though, I can barely breath and then start hacking. GO HARD!!!!

kbrocker68 Finally got back in the gym today. Just did a small workout but it felt good to workout again!! Hope everyone is as motivated as I am!!!!!!

  • no problem I used to get alot of elbow pains from my tricep excercises I found that if i lowered the weight and increased the reps I would get the same results with less pain :P

LISABK78 i try and stear clear of all things breaded. hard to when not many options but i never eat the chicken balls..none of them or chicken fingers. lol. my outsite fob is small and closing soon so we are getting even more limited with choices. Well I will try and focxus on the workouts like you said and really put in work and not focus on the food so much.
