My boyfriend got me interested in training to do a figure competition. He explained to me what it was all about and what I'd have to do to reach that level, and I really liked the idea.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. I like seeing how my body is changing!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at other peoples progress, magazines etc. Knowing theres always room for improvement helps.
Oh, and I watch Pumping Iron everyday before I work out.

well, i've been slacking in bb.com land (not my work outs).. just to clear the air. well after my comp. i had a rebound. hahah fraid to admit it. but food was way too good tasting. BUT i have also made some gains and i cannot wait to uncover them for my next show.
it was exhilertaing..and addictive..:) I would love to try another..it was a national qualifier..so the classes were huge..and i didn't place where i wanted..but i learned so much...and had a blast! :) now trying to figure out what to do..what is normal? and can i return to that? lol kinda lost
Hey Kayla, good to hear from ya again! I'm building, building , building! I am seeing great progress and I'm gng to start prepping just to see what I really put on, as muscle, then just define and polish hehe. What show you decide on?
Really trying to push hard.. still not close to you though lol.. Im glad your competetion went well and your doing another one! thats so great! I would be so nervous my first time.. did you go to shows before you did one?? I would really want to someday thats why i ask... how have you been though?
the first week was hard..I got headaches like crazy. But after that, you just learn to get more creative with extracts and seasonings...so it's all good. Prep is great!!!
yeah... I'm just gonna try to stay lean and work on my weak spots and bring my best package on stage for spring 2010. I just tell myself everything happens for a reason.. go with the flow!
Thanks :) My diet is OK...just dropped some cals this week, so I'm feeling a little hungry BUT I'm feeling leaner too ;-) Of course after seeing my suit, I'm thinking "OH $hit..How am I gonna fit in that??" lololol!
