Lifting yes, Ankle is GONE!!!! I cant even do any strenghtening exercizes yet on it! Weight bearing on it is limited! How are you doing? All goin well?

man it totally depends on your body's metabolism and a couple other things. Most people will bulk up and then diet down because its the easiest way to accomplish the bulking/cutting, and they see the best results both ways. I think for the time you would invest, you would have increased muscle mass with the bulking/cutting versus keeping cut and adding muscle. Either way, cut your cardio to 3 times a week (or less if you decide to bulk/cut).
