How I Started:
I've been procrastinating for a very long time and finally one day I asked my co-worker if I could go with him to the gym and if he would be my personal trainer. He gladly accepted and we have been working out together ever since.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel GREAT! I love the feeling of being disappointed at myself when I skip the gym for a day. I don't know why it took me so long to start up again but I'm glad I did and I definately don't plan on stopping.
How I Stay Motivated:
Noticing the way my body is transforming and having my friends and family notice as well really keeps me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
Pretty much just being able to be comfortable in a gym working out by myself without caring what people are saying. Being able to do the exercises I do now that I couldn't do when I started. Especially Ab's exercises!! Love those!!

Goal (Long):
I started working out January 10, 2009 with my co-worker and have been working out ever since. I know it wasn't a long time but I've been told there's progress so that's all that matters. I don't like to run but I know cardio is VERY important so I've been on the Elliptical almost everyday for a minimum of 20 minutes. I would like to really tone my legs. I think I'm doing alright with my upper body, it's the lower half that I would like concentrate on a lot more.

Thank you.. I do a lot of lunges/squats and calf raises. The programs I do structure upper and lower body together so they are hit every workout in some way. I think this helps to work them and keep them pretty lean.
No problem, anytime... it was fun...and YES the workout of our lives 4 mile run and a solid weight room session along with abs... who does that... but i feel real good and the soreness is that good soreness ya know.. we should do workouts like this more often... run the trail at hickam or even do a hike!!! Stairway to Heaven!!!! :)
