How I Started:
I've never "exercised" growing up, it's a cultural thing, we'd stayed active by working in the rice field and a diet of mainly white rice isn't much help to the love handles either. Moving to the United States in December 1996, I've adopted the convenient ways of eating and gained 15lbs since high school. I am finding it harder and harder to keep myself from putting on more fat ...
I was introduced to running about a year ago and fell in love with it, the feeling I get when I am running is simply exhilarating! Interestingly, I've gained a few more pounds after a year of running 20+miles/week ... It's entirely my fault really, I use running as an excuse to eat any crap I want.
An associate at 24hr fitness sees me days in and days out on the treadmill and approached me back in April with the idea that I should start lifting weights if I want to see changes in my body and I decided to give this a try ...

My goals are to build muscle and burn fat at the same time.
I've started a strength training combined with cardio routine a week ago and I am finding it difficult to build muscle and burn fat at the same time, it seems in order for me to be efficient I need to do just one or the other ... not...
thanks hun! I think u have an incredable bod!! I think the thing that has changed me the most is a consistant clean diet. I used to eat whatever i wanted than go on a diet for like a week than binge. So i think eating clean is 80% results for me. Back excersises that i love are the row machines, Lat pull downs, one arm dumbell rows. Those have worked well for me to tone. And assisted pull ups! Those work arms and back and shoulders! love them!
My naked man calf tattoo, has actually helped me out with the ladies, I think. I can tell they are all checkin me out now at the gym. not that they weren't before but now that i have this badass tattoo they can't get enough. Oh yeah.
oohhh well if u ever compete idont think it will be hard for u ha.daaang again poor fishes man lol ithink they kno how u look and r ready to watch out for u! hahha tell me how it went
Getting back into the swing of things again. Memorial Day kicked me off of my routine. It's a lot harder getting back on after 4 days than I thought. Good luck with all your stuff!!
