How I Started:
I have always admired the lean muscular builds of the famous women in fitness...Corey Everson...Rachel Mclish...Monica Brandt..etc..I got started in fitness because I wanted to lose the weight I gained after having my boys. The benifits of feeling better and a renewed sense of self kept me going. I have been in and out of a regular fitness program for years. Life has gotten in the way too many times.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because I feel better about myself the very moment I begin to move. The energy and self esteem builds on itself and keeps me going. I love to see muscle develop and well there are just a ton of things I get out of it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Having a goal keeps me going. I keep focused on what I want to change and go for it. I have been looking for someone to help me figure this thing out though. I need information.

Goal (Long):
I have been involved in fitness in some way over the last 20 years. I began working out as a way to get past my poor body image and depression. Over the years I have had an on again and off again love afair with lifting weights and working out. I have gained and lost and gained and lost but never got the look I really desire. Now at 41 and embarking on a new life(single again) and soon to graduate with a new career I want to go for it. My desire is to be lean and sculpted, enough to say I could compete if I wanted. I know this is going to to take great dicipline and some good information but I know if I do not do it now I may never get there and that is just not an option for me. I want mt shoulders and biceps to be sculpted and to see definition in my quads,want it all.

What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I like to do some high intensity interval on eliptical or treadmill because I can get it done in a short ammount of time and I love the high intensity work. How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
8-10 reps at 3 sets for my upper body and 12-15 at 3 sets for my lower body.
